-Vic blushes slightly more.- Yes, I think so. -He nods before finally looking up and meeting Evan’s gaze.- You always do. Just from being around, talking to me. From being you. You make me smile… that’s all. -He giggles slightly at the last part and then coughs, trying to gain a manly cough but failing dismally.-
*laughs* You okay there?
That’s probably the nicest thing anyone’s ever said about me. *smiles* I’m glad to have you as a friend, Vic.
So, um…you wanna talk about anything? Like…what’s going on, or…
W-what? Course I am.
-puts his hands on his cheeks-
I’m glad to have you too, Evan. You’re great, you’re really great. And people should say more things, ‘cause it’s true.
Well… um… the poison my body’s developing is killing me until my mutation stabilises. It should stabilise soon, else Dr McCoy’s going to have to find some way to help me. He said it’d be okay, and I trust him.
Mighty kind of you to say so, Vic. But, *shrugs* I dunno, I think most people when they talk about me are afraid of me.
…Oh gosh, I’m sorry! Does it…does it hurt?
Why would they be afraid of you? You’re nice, and funny, and really really cute… -Vic pauses when he realises he’s said it and now the blush travels up to the tips of his ears too.- Um…
-He shakes his head to try and return to the conversation-
Yeah, it hurts, but it’ll be fine. If it gets too bad I’ll go see Dr McCoy.
